Arts & Cultural Exchange works with Western Sydney communities and artists to generate community engagement, cultural production, and artist development. With over 30 years of experience, we connect communities, creativity, and technology to create art and enhance cultural vibrancy. With your ongoing support, you’ve helped us to achieve a lot:
Real skills. Real creativity. Real autonomy.
There’s a lot of work to be done, and we need your help.
By supporting ACE, you are investing in the creative empowerment and sustainability of some of Western Sydney’s most under-represented communities. This year marks our 40-year anniversary, and our recent achievements include 2023 ‘Outstanding Community Organisation’ in the Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence. One of our most vital areas of work would be transformed by your support: our First Nations program.
Our First Nations producers Akala Newman and Tannika Keaton, have delivered On Country Cultural Training and produced Dharug Voices episodes. We are Co-Executive Producers of Jannawi Dance Clan’s Garrigarrang Badu, premiering at Carriageworks in Sydney Festival 2025.
Our youth collective, Still Growing, hosted residencies for Bria McCarthy and Amy Flannery and we are launching workshops for First Nations students at Nepean Performing and Creative Arts High School. However, opportunities exceed our funding, and we aim to raise $200,000 to support 200 young First Nations people in the program.
