Introducing the music video for Jonathan Yung’s solo debut EP DISCO CITY!

Created as part of ACE’s Exchange residence project, the music video for the titular track off Jonathan Yung’s EP, DISCO CITY, is a hypercolour depiction of joy and interspecies friendship.

Made by animator and digital art prodigy Serwah Attafuah, in collaboration with Club Weld’s jazz- pop maverick, the music video manifests the grand joy of Yung’s instrumental imagined within an animated dream world.

Yung’s solo debut EP, DISCO CITY is a mix of disco inspired instrumentals and pop songs celebrating simple post-COVID freedoms – being out and about, walking our city streets and dancing with friends.

Written in collaboration with Club Weld facilitator, Pasko Schravemade, the EP shows off Jonathan’s effortless musicality, accomplished keyboard skills and exquisite pop vocals.
