ACE was excited to host the Parramatta Zine Fair, a celebration of indie art, books, and zines made in and around Burramattagal Country, the multicultural city of Parramatta.

Over 70 stallholders – zine-makers, visual artists, designers, photographers, poets, writers, and indie publishers – from Greater Western Sydney and beyond showcased, swapped and sold art, zines, books and independent publications at Arts & Cultural Exchange.

The event highlighted local creatives and amplified the voices of under-represented communities across Greater Western Sydney and beyond!

The School of Zines also had an exhibit featuring works of their zine workshop alumni over the past year.

School of Zines is a creative collective running zine-making & self-publishing workshops on Dharug country in multicultural Parramatta, passionate about zines as an accessible form of self-expression, a powerful tool for storytelling, and a sustainable way of publishing.

This special flagship event was brought to you by the School of Zines, supported by the Arts & Cultural Exchange, proudly presented by Parramatta’s Lit! in partnership with Sydney Fringe Festival.
