Workshop Session One: Directors & Creatives

• 11:30am – 1:30pm

This session focuses on the essential role of visual language in storytelling. Participants will explore key pre‑production practices, including crafting treatments, understanding lens characteristics, and developing effective testing methods and practices. The goal is to equip Directors and Creatives with the tools to clearly articulate their vision and strengthen communication with Cinematographers and Heads of Department.

A special case study presentation by Meg White ACS will also be featured.

Networking Lunch

• 1:30pm – 2:30pm

A relaxed lunch with light refreshments, offering an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow attendees and industry professionals.

Session Two: Advanced Technical Training

• 2:30pm – 4:30pm

Designed for Cinematographers, Camera Assistants, post‑production professionals, and those working in advanced technical roles, this session provides an in‑depth exploration and breakdown of optics, including Spherical, Anamorphic, Large Format, and Super 35 lenses. The workshop will also cover Panavision’s latest trends in lens modification and customisation, providing valuable insights into the evolving craft of cinematography.

All attendees are invited to join the networking lunch between sessions. If you’re attending the morning session, stay for lunch! If you’re joining for the afternoon, come early. You never know when you might meet your next collaborator.
