Calling all animation fans! Don’t miss the Animation Crash Course — a dynamic demonstration for emerging and early-career animators interested in developing their skills and connecting with the animation community.

Ideal for beginner and intermediate animators, the Crash Course provides a welcoming entry point into the animation pipeline — offering practical skills, insight into collaborative production, and pathways to participate in a large-scale creative project: Reanimated 2026.

ACE Parramatta, in partnership with ReanimatedAU offers participants the opportunity to be introduced to the fundamentals of character animation, from Animator Wilton Lander (Flying Bark, Studio Moshi, Half Giant) and Amira Stanbouli (Arena Media, Aracourt Studio), and learn how to translate live-action reference clips into animated performance.
The session offers a practical overview of the animation process, from interpreting movement and timing through to creating a finished animated moment.
