Every Version of You by Grace Chan is a captivating novel that explores the intriguing concept of parallel universes and the idea of multiple versions of ourselves. Through the protagonist, Lana, the story delves into the impact of our decisions on our lives and the different paths we could have taken.

The novel examines the themes of regret, choice, and identity, as Lana confronts her past and navigates two parallel universes, ultimately making a decision that will change everything. Every Version of You is a thought-provoking journey that encourages readers to reflect on their own lives and the different versions of themselves that could have been.

About the Facilitator

Giselle Au-Nhien Nguyen facilitated the conversation about Grace Chan’s debut novel.

Giselle Au-Nhien Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Australian writer, journalist, and critic based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her work has been published widely in media and literary publications including The Age, The Guardian, Meanjin, and Sydney Review of Books. She was an inaugural recipient of The Wheeler Centre’s Next Chapter fellowship in 2018 and a fiction judge for the 2021 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards.
